Rich and definitely cheesy, this garlic bread can be enjoyed as an appetizer or as a side dish with a big bowl of pasta.
Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter
¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
3 large garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
1 tablespoon fresh parsley leaves, chopped
1 baguette, halved lengthwise and widthwise
Kosher salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
½ cup shredded cheese, such as a mixture of provolone, asiago, and Parmesan, but any good melting cheese will do
Preparation
Put the butter, oil, garlic, and parsley in a small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat until the butter has melted, stirring occasionally.
Brush the garlic butter on the cut side of each piece of bread. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and then sprinkle the cheese evenly over each piece.
Select Bake at 350°F for 6 minutes and press Start/Stop.
When the air fryer is preheated, carefully place the bread in the basket, and put back into the air fryer.
Carefully transfer from the basket to a cutting board. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
